Cancel Hims Weight Loss: What Stops and What Still Bills
Edited by Ryan Lafayette using public sources. Confirm prices and terms with the provider before you pay. Not medical advice.
Canceling only your Hims weight-loss medication leaves your membership active and billed monthly. Canceling the weight-loss membership also cancels its associated medication plans. Choose the renewal you actually want to end.
US weight-loss membership policies checked October 13, 2026. Other Hims subscriptions can have different steps. This guide explains account and billing terms; it does not advise you to stop medication or care.
Which renewal do you want to stop?
| What you end | What happens |
|---|---|
| Medication renewal only | The weight-loss membership stays active and continues billing monthly. |
| Weight-loss membership | Associated medication plans are also canceled. Membership features remain available until the current billing period ends. |
| Another Hims subscription | Check that separate plan in your account. Canceling weight loss does not necessarily end it. |
Hims describes the separate membership and medication billing in its weight-loss FAQ. Its dedicated cancellation instructions explain how to choose the renewal. Ending a future renewal and getting money back for an existing charge are separate questions.

How to cancel in the Hims app or website
In the app: sign in, open your profile at the upper right, then choose the subscriptions area. On the website: sign in and open subscriptions from the top menu.
- Find the weight-loss plan and choose Manage subscription
- Choose Turn off auto-renew on my medication or membership
- Select the renewal you intend to end.
- Complete the remaining prompts and save the confirmation.
If the controls differ in your account or the change does not go through, use Hims' current weight-loss instructions and its secure support portal.
Check the order date before expecting a refund
Hims publishes two timing references for subscription order changes:
- The general cancellation page asks you to act at least 48 hours before the next order date. It says canceling a subscription does not cancel an order already processing or shipped.
- The refund policy asks for changes at least 48 hours before payment is processed for the next order. Once the pharmacy has processed an order, Hims does not guarantee a refund.
Check the medication order date and the membership renewal date separately. These order-change instructions do not establish a separate cutoff for every membership charge. Ask support which date applies to the charge you are trying to prevent.
A cancellation confirmation does not, by itself, confirm a refund. If you prepaid for medication or want a membership charge returned, ask about that specific charge and plan. Do not assume the general pharmacy-order policy settles every prepaid or membership refund.
If you see a charge after canceling
Start by matching the charge to the service and dates. A medication cancellation may leave the membership active; an order may already have entered processing. Those possibilities are worth checking before deciding what happened in your account.
- Which renewal did you turn off: membership, medication or another subscription?
- What does the confirmation say, and when did you complete the change?
- What service does the charge cover, and when was its payment processed?
- Was a medication order already processing or shipped?
Keep the confirmation, charge date, amount and relevant order status. Send those details through Hims' secure support portal and ask which plan remains active, whether another change is needed and whether the charge qualifies for a refund. Keep personal account or payment details out of public comments.

If you are changing providers
Canceling billing does not arrange a new care or pharmacy service. Separate the account change from deciding who will handle your next prescription, follow-up or fill.
- Request your medical recordsif another clinician needs them.
- Check prescription renewal requirementsbefore assuming a new service can use the existing prescription.
- Already have a prescriber?Check what a new membership would add and what the pharmacy handles separately.
If you need to compare another care or pharmacy option, use the Compare Tool after identifying the service you need.
